I gave this book 5 stars, even though some of the characters were mixed up. Overall this is a very very good book. It shows how you have to pay close attention to your surroundings and the people you deal with or you'll get caught up in Delilah's web of lies, illicit sex, deceit, turmoil, etc. Delilah us a force to be reckoned with.Product details

I loved this book! I was seriously highlighting passages and was talking to my hubby about this book as we drove home Las Vegas. It was great! At first I was a little confused as to when Delilah was speaking but once I got it...smh...I was all in. This is not the type of book that you will truly enjoy unless you are willing to go in open-minded. It's got a lot of twists, turns and wow moments but most importantly it has a lot of simple lessons. It takes you to God without being to preachy. I enjoyed the novel so much that I actually found myself highlighting passages on my to refer back to at a later time. It is well worth the money and will leave you wondering...Can you resist the temptation of Delilah?
The premise of the story is based around the temptress "Delilah" that is the voice inside the characters heads tempting them to do wrong. There were a few main characters but the main focus is Bree and the life that she is living. The things that she goes through will have you hating her, feeling sorry for and then praying for her soul!
Ladee Mitchell really did her thing with this book and I'm looking forward to reading more novels by her in the future.
I read this book in two nights. The author took a biblical character that most don't give much though to and brought her to life. When we think about Delilah we think of how she tricked Sampson we never think about the person trapped on the inside of her. The author took this character and pulled us behind the veil with her so that you can be come one with her.
This book takes you to a place that many has not yet journeyed, it goes beyond the surface of what we as Christians think that life is really about. The author gives us lifes, lessons that are real and that we can relate to. She doesn't give us the happily ever after story that we are use to. I would tell every single person young and old to purchase this book. If you have a child who was raised in church and thats all they know boy or girl give them this book. It will change their lives.
Well when I first seen the book. I thought it had a sweet cover but thought it was going to be boring because it's a christian book. Boy was I wrong! It captivated me from the beginnig!It was christian based,but it was real on the basis of real world things. Give it a 5*!!! Deliah is a trip! LOL
This was new author for me but it was good. I'm not sure if I would read a sequel but I may change my mind.
I was a bit confused reading the book. I was thrown off with the "side bar" conversations. It didnt really flow, and Im not sure if this is the first book for this Author but it needs work. I do understand where the book was trying to go, it just didnt. There was never a "WOW" moment which led to bordem. I love reading but I would think twice about purchasing another book from this Author.
i would've gave it 3 1/2 stars, but i can't do that on so i gave it four. THe book is very good, nice story line, but it is slow, not to mention that you get a little dizzy as the story goes from back to forth and side notes. i got it when it was free, but its at a nice price. Its a great book between good versus evil. God verses lust, or in this case God verses Delilah. I would reccomend this book, and i cannot wait until i read part two.
